Welcome
If you're here you most likely are looking to get better with your camera, maybe. Or better yet, turn it into a friend, a tool, and extension of yourself. But, that's not how things are at the moment. Your camera works, and sometimes takes good pictures. And yet, you know, it can do so much more and so much better.
Now, if it would do just that.
I wish I could just wave a wand and you would know and understand everything there is about photography. And maybe in an alternate reality that is possible. In our's however, it is not. You'll have to learn things, practice, and then practice some more. That's the bad news. The good news is that the learning and practicing can be a lot of fun. And I promise you that if you stick with me through this, you will understand more about your camera and photography than you ever thought possible.
Keep calm and keep shooting on,
Walter Schnecker, CPP, CPC, CCH
What you'll need for this course:
A digital camera that lets you set shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. If you have a camera with a dial that says MASP, or M, Av, Tv, P, you're all set.
A lens (any lens will do). - Should fit on your camera, though.
A charged battery for your camera.
The book that came with your camera.
Having access to a tripod will be helpful for some of the practice sessions.
What if you get stuck:
Use the texting bubble on the right. I'll get back to you as soon as we can. If we need to, I'll invite you to a zoom video call so you can show me what's happening.
I love helping people!
