A classroom. A teacher. Other people figuring it out right next to you. That's how this works.
In six weeks, you'll learn to use AI for the things you actually deal with every day. Writing, research, problem-solving, figuring out how to say something the right way. You'll follow along in class, hands on, every week. And you'll learn to spot when AI is giving you confident nonsense.
No jargon, no coding, no tech background required. Just adults who want to learn this the right way.
You'll walk out with a certificate from a state-licensed school, with curriculum aligned to the U.S. Department of Labor AI Literacy Framework. And if you want to keep going, there are two more courses and a capstone credential waiting.
Tuesdays: 6-7:30pm
Next course starts June 16th
Six weeks. Hands on. No one gets left behind.
Week 1, you write your first prompt. By Week 6, you demo something you built yourself. In between, you'll use AI for writing, research, problem-solving, and tasks from your actual life. Every class has an assignment. Every assignment gets reviewed the following week. Questions happen out loud, not in a comment box.
Issued by a state-licensed school. Backed by a federal framework.
C1M Academy is licensed by the State of New Hampshire Department of Education. Your Certificate in Foundations of Artificial Intelligence means something. The curriculum is aligned with the U.S. Department of Labor AI Literacy Framework.

And why you don't need to be afraid of it.
Welcome to Foundations of AI. This first class is about getting your bearings. Before we build any skills, we need to agree on what we're actually working with. Because most of what people believe about AI is either wrong, inflated, or borrowed from a movie made thirty years ago.
By the end of this lesson, you'll know what AI is, what it isn't, which tools matter, and the one framework that will make everything else in this course easier.
Your only job tonight is to stay curious. There are no stupid questions here. If something doesn't make sense, that's on me to explain better — not on you to feel bad about
We often make the mistake of thinking of AI as no different from a search engine. Plug in your question, get a quick answer. And, of course, AI does have that element to it. To get the most from it, though, you need to understand that AI is a conversation.
When you ask AI questions, you'll get answers. If you treat the interaction as a conversation, you'll get better answers. We've seen that in action already. Now we're going to see what happens when you give AI information and ask it to synthesize it into something new.
